Scott has been representing clients in the areas of estate planning, wills and trusts, probate, taxation, and real estate and business services, for over 30 years.

Scott’s years of experience in estate and tax law allow him to counsel his clients in avoiding the many pitfalls that could lead to potential legal liability. Scott takes pride in assuring that his clients’ interests are administered in the most efficient, timely, and professional manner possible.

Scott represents Illinois estates and real estate legal matters in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake and Will counties.

Prior to starting his own law practice, Scott was a tax professional with a large international public accounting firm, and legal counsel at Harris Trust and Savings Bank (now known as BMO Harris), providing tax, estate planning and other legal advice to the bank’s high net worth trust customers. Scott also was the estate, tax and business law attorney for a downtown Chicago law firm before starting his own law office in 1992.
