Wills and Trusts

Scott helps clients tailor their wills and trusts for any number of personal situations, such as beneficiaries with disabilities, contentious family situations or beneficiaries with financial or substance abuse problems.

Scott will recommend and prepare Health Care and Property Powers of Attorney in order to prevent the need for court supervised guardianship in the event of disability. The Health Care Power of Attorney also allows the individual to make an advanced directive of his wishes concerning life support.

For many individuals, a simple will or a will with contingent trusts for minor children will meet their estate planning needs. In other situations, it may be advisable to create a living trust to avoid a possible probate estate.
